Roll Company

The Roll Company is the sole Company within the Hitachi Metals Group to be named for a specific product. The rolls that comprise the primary product offering are the result of long history and outstanding technologies. These rolls are manufactured at Hitachi Metals Wakamatsu, Ltd., whose roots extend back to the purchase of Teikoku Foundry in 1917 by Tobata Foundry Co., the precursor to Hitachi Metals. Hitachi Metals Wakamatsu, Ltd. has since gone on to establish world class technologies. Today, its unsurpassed metallurgical technologies are put to use in a wide variety of products, including construction materials, industrial machinery components, and ceramics and electronics products.
