| Overview: | The Metglas Yasugi Works, which commenced operations in April 2011, is the newest Japanese domestic plant in the Hitachi Metals network. The facility is engineered to specialize in the manufacture of amorphous metals for use in distribution transformer iron cores and, together with the Metglas, Inc., plant, supplies those products to customers worldwide. |
