Overview
The development
of computer- and OA-related equipment and the remarkable improvement
in consumer electronics and machine production technologies have
increased the need for high-precision, high-performance soft magnetic
materials that are both small and intricately shaped.
To meet these needs, Hitachi Metals has developed high-performance, sintered soft magnetic materials that enable near net shape (NNS) processing.

Features
- With high permeability and magnetic flux density, YEP-BS and YEP-CS (sintered Permalloy) are perfect for use in magnetic shield cores, EFI cores, memory cores and motor cores, which require low-frequency, soft magnetic properties.
- With high magnetic flux density and high specific resistance, YEP-SS (sintered Fe-3Si alloy) is ideal for use in relatively high-frequency applications, dot-matrix printer parts, rotary transformer components and other applications.
- YEP-2VS (sintered Permendur) is produced by sintering Fe-50Co alloy, which has the highest saturation magnetic flux density of all magnetic materials. This material raises the performance of dot-matrix printer parts.
- YEP-DT and YEP-FD materials have high permeability and excellent
high-frequency properties, making them ideal for use in noise
filters and switching power source choke coils.
