These magnets have magnetic properties very similar to those of NKS magnets, but offer the considerable advantage of being amenable to plastic deformation processing (i.e., rolling and drawing). Iron-chromium-cobalt magnets are widely used in applications that call for compact, complex shapes difficult or impossible to achieve with other types of magnets.
