with high performance rare earth magnets, is a direct-current linear
motor. Use of the moving coil method, which keeps the weight of the
moving element to an absolute minimum, enables high-speed access.
In addition, a control system for high-speed, full-closed-loop structures
ensures optimal engine performance. Hitachi linear motors, based
on total system design and production, and as key units of systems,
are rapidly achieving new levels of performance in response to increasingly
diversified customer needs.
